BOWL FOR KIDS’ SAKE 2026

CHANGE YOUR SHOES…CHANGE A LIFE!

Bowl for Kids’ Sake began 46 years ago and has been supporting mentoring relationships that help youth build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging ever since. This year, our retro vibe is a nod to 1980; a new look with the same community spirit that built this tradition over 4 decades ago.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Grey, Bruce and West Simcoe was thrilled to host the 46th annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake throughout April in Owen Sound and Collingwood. More than 50 teams joined us at The Bowling Alley and Georgian Bowl, helping raise over $27,000 in support of free youth mentoring programs across the region!

We extend our sincere appreciation to this year’s event sponsors — Bruce Power, Bosley Real Estate, Candu, Collingwood Today, Max 97.7, Mix 106.5, and RMT Lounge — as well as to our incredible venue partners, The Bowling Alley and Georgian Bowl, whose generosity and support helped make this year’s campaign possible.

A huge congratulations to our top fundraising teams – The Stupendous Six in Owen Sound and Royal Lepage Locations North in Collingwood! Our top individual fundraisers were Mark Perry in Owen Sound and Melissa Bentz in Collingwood. Shoutout to Jacqueline Clement who received our Bill Murdoch Memorial Challenge award with a score of 301!

With peer-to-peer fundraising, friendly team challenges, and an online silent auction, the event once again highlighted the incredible community commitment to supporting local young people. Bowl for Kids’ Sake remains a cornerstone fundraiser, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who took part. Thank you for helping us build brighter futures through mentoring!
