A change of shoes can change a life!
Since 1980, our Bowl For Kids’ Sake campaign has run annually in the spring. When Bowl for Kids’ Sake first began, the funds raised sustained our programs for the entire year! Now, this fundraiser is still vital to Big Brothers Big Sisters Grey Bruce & West Simcoe, allowing us to offer a variety of high-quality mentorship programs to the communities we serve.
Igniting the power and potential of young people – one swing at a time!
Since 2016, our Golf Fore Kids’ Sake tournament has run annually in late summer/early fall. With over 100 golfers in attendance, this spirited annual event brings together local businesses, community leaders, and golf enthusiasts with a shared goal: to ignite the power and potential of young people across Grey, Bruce and West Simcoe.
Creating brighter futures with every serve!
Since 2023, the Bigger Together Charity Pickleball Tournament has brought community members together each early summer in partnership with Taylored Pickleball Academy. This event isn’t just about friendly competition — it’s about rallying support for local youth and inspiring the next generation through mentorship. Join us on the court and be part of the movement that’s changing lives one match at a time.
where creativity meets community care.
Some events seek to inspire, some seek to celebrate, and others seek to connect. The Art of Caring aims to deliver all three! In partnership with Bruce Grey Child & Family Services and Keystone Child, Youth & Family Services, this biennial youth charity gala welcomes 200 community members and supports over 8,000 local children and families connected to the three agencies.
There are many ways to support our annual events! Consider sponsorship, an in-kind donation, participation, or even sharing the event within your social circles.

A Tax-Smart Way to Support Local Youth
Donating publicly traded securities—such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or ETFs—is one of the most tax-effective ways to make a charitable contribution. When you give securities directly to our organization, you eliminate the capital gains tax you would normally pay if you sold the investments yourself. This means your donation goes further, and you can create an even greater impact for young people in our community.
- Maximize your tax benefits: No capital gains tax on donated securities
- Increase your impact: The full value of your investment supports local youth mentoring
- Flexible giving: Donate securities during your lifetime or through your estate
- Simple process: Your financial advisor or broker can transfer the securities directly to us
